National and International
Mobility Options for UTM students

 
 

Learn about our mobility and internationalization programs and the scholarships you can access.
Each Program or Scholarship is subject to the dates and requirements of each call.

​

PROFEAR (High Performance Student Training Program): for mobility in a French-speaking country. It consists of preparation in the French language from beginners and development of soft skills, with the aim of obtaining a scholarship in a French-speaking country, such as the Mexprotec, ELAP, AMESTUR scholarship or the International Mobility scholarship to Quebec, Canada. (PROFEAR call open from December to January for students enrolled in the second semester of TSU).

Mexprotec Scholarship: Proposes to study a Professional License at a French IUT, with a duration of one year. (It is required to take the PROFEAR to participate in this call). The federal call is published between May and June of each year.

International Mobility Scholarship to Quebec, Canada: It consists of studying a diploma at the end of TSU in a CEGEP, with a duration of four months. (It is required to take the PROFEAR to participate in this call). The federal call is published between May and June of each year.


AMESTUR: It allows Tourism and Gastronomy students (TSU and Bachelor) to carry out their professional internships at a VTF in France, lasting three months. The UTM internal call is published one four-month period before the professional internship period. (It is required to take the PROFEAR to participate in this call). http://amestur.org/


ELAP (Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program): It offers students of Industrial Engineering and Information Technology to carry out their professional internships in Quebec, Canada. (It is required to take the PROFEAR to participate in this call). The internal call is published between February and March of each year.

Pacific Alliance: UTM is part of this Network that proposes to carry out academic stays (TSU and Bachelor's Degree, Engineering) in Chile, Peru and Colombia. https://alianzapacifico.net/


External calls. UTM proposes that students participate in the calls for scholarships published by other institutions (SEP, DGRI, AMEXID, COMEXUS, foreign governments, etc.). The calls are published on the University's networks when they are available.

Programs derived from bilateral agreements:

Academic stay in one of the institutions with which we have an agreement. It consists of studying four months or more in one of the careers offered by our partner institutions at a national or international level for TSU / Bachelor / Engineering students. 

Research stay: It consists, at a national or international level, in the development of collaborative projects in conjunction with academic bodies, students or professors from other Universities. The duration and total number of hours is adjustable to the needs of the project.
Professional Internships / Stays: Allows students to stay in another state of the Mexican Republic or abroad.
